Slovak Conference

of Concerts of Prayer and Praise

In many Slovak cities over the past few years there has among primarily the youth been an extraordinary demonstration of the unity of God's people. Without consideration of church background, God's children began regularly meeting for Concerts of Prayer and Praise. Each of these meetings are characterized by unified prayer and praise, coming from a deep desire on the part of each individual to see revival in their home town and throughout Slovakia.

With a knowledge of this unique moving of the Holy Spirit and full of thankfulness and praise to our God, we joyfully announce that on August 29 to September 1, 1996, in the Pasienka Sport Hall in Bratislava, will be the Slovak Conference of Concerts of Prayer and Praise. Many distinguished guests have received invitations, among whom are Graham Kendrick and his musicians, Gerald Coates, Paul Dakin, Evald Rucky, Pavol Hanes, Ann Clifford, Ron Kernahan and so on. The Lord has prepared special themes for the entire conference participants, interesting seminars, and evening Concerts of Prayer and Praise for us, as well as many other things, because he loves us and desires to see a great revival in our country. We believe that we are going to be witnesses of important happenings in the history of the Church of Slovakia, and anticipate a powerful demonstration of unity and desire for revival as we share together on the final Sunday in a celebration of the Lord's Supper. Government representatives will be invited to join with us on Sunday.
