Roland Seow was born in 1955 and raised as a Buddhist/Taoist in Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia .  He was converted as a student in England in 1975.  His encounter with the Holy Spirit a few years later was so powerful that it transformed his entire family (mother, sisters, brother-in-laws, uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews and nieces) when he returned home after his studies with his wife, Evelyn.

Roland worked with Unilever for 8 years, the last position being a marketing manager, before going full-time in 1988 as an Executive Pastor with Full Gospel Assembly, Kuala Lumpur- currently an 8,000 member charismatic church.  He left for the United States in 1992 with his family to complete his Masters degree in Theology at Regent University , Virginia .  Upon completion, the Lord led Pastor Roland to plant a church in Melbourne Australia with a vision to establish a multi-cultural church with a vision to build strong families and impact the nations of the world.

Today, he pastors a church of about 500 members comprised of many cultural and language groups.  He ministers apostolically and prophetically in various parts of the world, particularly in Asia , and has a passion to support and encourage pastors who are struggling in ministry.  Pastor Roland and Evelyn have two daughters, Prisca (25) who is happily married in the US and Chara (19) who is studying at Melbourne University .

 

Evelyn Seow is the wife of our Senior Pastor, Roland Seow.  She currently overseers the Ladies’ Ministry in FGAM.  Evelyn was also formerly the Children Ministry’s Director of FGA Kuala Lumpur, overseeing over 1000 children, children outreaches and camps.

She also pioneered the 1st Christian ministry Child Care Center , Noah’s Ark , and a Christian School in Malaysia .  Evelyn home-schooled their 2 daughters and have a passion for ministry to families and passing the baton to the next generation.  She gained her invaluable experiences in spiritual warfare in her last 29 years in the ministry.
